Rydges South Bank is located in the heart of city’s arts and entertainment precinct and is the closest hotel to Brisbane’s Queensland Performing Arts Centre. The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is immediately adjacent to the hotel. Activities in the precinct are endless with regular events and showcases on art, music, food & films. Wander through the weekend art & craft markets, take a dip in South Bank’s man made Street’s beach, or enjoy a barbeque or picnic in the lush Brisbane parklands. CBD Brisbane and the bohemian village of West End are a 10 minute stroll away.
A block of accommodation at special rates (rates include 10% gst) has been reserved at Rydges South Bank. You will be able to book accommodation, if needed, at the same time as you register for the conference in 2012.

Other accommodation
Brisbane offers a variety of accommodation options at reasonable prices. A comprehensive list of accommodation options is available at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre web site (http://www.bcec.com.au/destination/brisbane/accommodation.aspx) or try Hotels Combined (www.hotelscombined.com.au/brisbane). Delegates should make their own accommodation bookings directly with hotels operators well in advance of the conference; early booking is advised as Brisbane can be very busy.
